The design for the new buildings at M\u00fcnster's city harbor deals with the history of its location in an exemplary manner.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The design recreates the former Osmo halls in M\u00fcnster's city harbor in a modern way with their simple design, proportions and scale. A wide variety of functions are brought together under the concise element of the lined-up barrel roof, symbolizing the transformation of the port from the industrial age to the present day: Creative and cultural uses, hotel and services as well as residential - all under one roof.
\nVarious types of public, semi-public and private outdoor areas now span between these functional areas, protected from the weather as required by the degree of openness of the roof construction, in order to provide a framework for the traditional functions such as the harbor market or various events, as in the past. In terms of height, the design is based on the neighboring warehouse buildings that characterize the port.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
